InFocus was a film and storytelling workshop that I co-created for teens, particularly those experiencing housing transition, emotional difficulties or confidence issues.

Along with co-founder Carrieann Asani, a life coach for teen girls and young women, and with funding from Garfield County P.R.E.P., we led a week-long video intensive that offered youth in the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado an opportunity to discover and develop their unique voice with intention.

We encouraged and inspired youth to express issues that are important to them, in their own vernacular. Exploring through writing and video, youth created media that is relevant, personal, collaborative and original. Their final pieces were celebrated at a free community screening.
